St Michael's Hurst

Region: South East

St Michael's Hurst is a vibrant, attractive community with a rich infrastructure of communal open spaces, play areas and Bat Willow Hurst Country Park to be enjoyed by  the local community. These green spaces have been created to fulfil a whole range of shared functions such as providing safe pedestrian and cycle access routes, allowing for sustainable drainage and creating leisure and social opportunities for the benefit of the local community.

The Present and the Future

Bat Willow Hurst Country Park is adjacent to the St Michael’s Hurst development. The Land Trust will be managing the space in a way which benefits the local community and delivers against our five charitable objectives of community cohesion, environment, education, economy and health.

This will involve organising community events each year such as a summer family fun days and a festive winter event in December.
