Situated in Stockon-on-Tees, Port Clarence is a former landfill site which has been capped and now supports a diverse grassland, teeming with wildflowers and has the potential to develop a rich biodiversity.

The Present and the Future

 

The land, which is nestled beside the River Tees, was formerly Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) land and acquired by the Land Trust in 2016.

Note – there is no public access to this site.
