The Land Trust Nature in Summer Photography Competition 2023

21st July 2023

Calling all budding photographers! The Land trust is launching a seasonal Nature in Summer Photography Competition. We want to see your favourite things about the summer season within nature, taken at any of the 80+ sites that the Land trust owns and manages.

Summer is now in full swing, with the Land Trust sites rich in flora and fauna, full of an abundance of life and a wide spectrum of beautiful shapes and colours, all waiting to be captured and explored!

Whether it’s a close up of a flower in bloom, a bird in flight against the bright blue sky or a landscape full of live and colour – capture what you love and send it in to us.

All entries must be taken at a Land Trust site – Anyone can visit Land Trust spaces all around the UK to enjoy well-managed green space (thelandtrust.org.uk)

The competition is open to all; you don’t need to be a professional photographer. There will be a prize of £50 voucher for this season’s winner. Send your entries in to media@thelandtrust.org.uk. All entries must be submitted by midnight 25 September 2023. The winner will be announced on the Land Trust social media on Monday 2 October and will be contacted via email. We can’t wait to see your entries!

For the full terms and conditions here.

Last Year’s winner was George Varley, who took this amazing photograph of a Barn Owl at at former colliery Frickley Country Park, West Yorkshire. We are sure you will agree that George’s photograph captures this barn owl beautifully!
