Updated site closure details – Northumberlandia – July 2020

The Land Trust is working hard to ensure the communities surrounding its 70+ sites still have access to green space for daily exercise during this time. However, it is essential for the health and safety of our visitors and colleagues that we take appropriate measures to comply with government advice during the Coronavirus outbreak.

The Land Trust and Tritax Symmetry set out vision for former colliery site

The Land Trust has entered into an agreement with specialist logistics developer Tritax Symmetry to bring forward a new employment site and Country Park on land at the former Cronton Colliery in Knowsley, Merseyside.

Land Trust Chief Executive, Euan Hall, hailed the charity’s growing relationship with Countryside Properties, as the two organisations confirmed a legal agreement has been signed for the Trust to take on the green space management at Countryside’s Wolsey Park development in Rayleigh.
