The Land Trust’s service charge subsidiary, Land Trust Residential Services Ltd, has been shortlisted in the Best Newcomer category at the RESI Awards.
Land Trust Residential Services manages green spaces within and around housing and commercial developments through tenant funding agreements, ensuring everything from natural corridors and sustainable drainage solutions, to play areas and natural community amenities, are effectively and sustainably maintained and enhanced.
Euan Hall, CEO of the Land Trust, said: “We’re delighted that Land Trust Residential Services has been recognised with this nomination after just over a year of operation.
“New developments need to be about more than the roads and the homes; great places to live should also include valuable green space. However, developers need to be able to identify an exit strategy that ensures that green spaces continue to add value, so the Land Trust Residential Services model not only does that but also creates opportunities for community engagement in the spaces too.”
The RESI Awards, held by Property Week magazine, aim to identify the best firms or individuals who had a transformative 2016 in the residential sector. Winners will be announced on May 10th.
