Green Angels Beam Parklands

Green Angels is an exciting training opportunity with an environmental focus, giving you the chance to learn new skills, change your future prospects and make a difference in your community. Our FREE courses cover subjects such as wildlife conservation, landscaping, environmental education, horticulture and more. Training programmes usually last around six weeks, with regular sessions that combine learning with hands-on experience.

Delivered at Beam Parklands this Green Angels programme started in Spring 2023.


  • Wednesday 24 January 10am-1pm – Winter ID Walk
  • Wednesdays 10, 17, 24 April and 1 May -4-week Wildlife ID course
  • Saturday 11 May – Dawn Chorus Walk
  • Wednesday 4 September 7pm-8.30pm –  Dusk Walk/Bat Walk
  • Wednesday 11 September – Nettle Workshop

In order to confirm you place on a course, you will also need to have completed both our application and welfare forms. Please note that to ensure all needs are catered for, all applicants will also be required to complete and submit a welfare form before being accepted onto a course.

We will contact you to discuss specific details of activities during the application process, and this informal chat also provides you with the opportunity to ask any questions and discuss any needs and aspirations prior to starting with Green Angels.
