Green Angels is an exciting training opportunity with an environmental focus, giving you the chance to learn new skills, change your future prospects and make a difference in your community.
Our FREE courses cover subjects such as wildlife conservation, landscaping, environmental education, horticulture and more. Training programmes usually last around six weeks, with regular sessions that combine learning with hands-on experience.
We started Green Angels at Fort Burgoyne in 2019 with courses in Environmental Education and Habitat Creation and Management, and since then have continued delivery, even through the pandemic, when we ran online courses in Food Growing and Wild Wellbeing. We will contact you to discuss specific details of activities during the application process, and this informal chat also provides you with the opportunity to ask any questions and discuss any needs and aspirations prior to starting with Green Angels.
You can complete both our application and welfare forms as follows:
Courses will run within the Fort Burgoyne site and are delivered in partnership with The White Cliffs Countryside Partnership.
