Green Angels is the Land Trust’s award winning FREE environmental training programme, which is delivered on a number of our sites across the country. It is an exciting training opportunity with an environmental focus, giving you the chance to learn new skills, meet new people and make a difference in your local community.
Our FREE introductory level courses cover subjects such as wildlife conservation, landscaping, wildlife identification, wild wellbeing, horticulture and more. Training delivery varies from one day workshops to six or more sessions spread over a number of weeks, and learning is achieved through a combination of theory and hands-on experience. Anyone over the age of 18 years is welcome to apply for a place with Green Angels in your local area, and trainees who complete their course in full will be eligible for a certificate, which can help with further learning and career development.
Green Angels can help you to change your future prospects, whether it be through starting a new
hobby, outdoor volunteering or developing your career path. At many of our sites there is also the opportunity to join more informal volunteering activities where you can practice your new skills, enjoy teamwork and nurture the wildlife on your doorstep.
The best way to get involved is by visiting the Green Angels Portal. You can register by clicking hereĀ and when completing the form select your nearest project location. Please visit the site pages on the portal to find out about the opportunities available.
