Winter is coming .... join a wonderfully wild winter celebration at Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park with natural wreaths, giant crows, quiz trails and winter warmer refreshments!
Have a go at weaving a winter wreath using willow cut from the park, then add a range of decorative natural materials and gathered greenery. Younger children can decorate mini card wreaths with a range of natural and sparkly materials and stickers. Meet Tony Crow of the Park’s Watch in his giant indoor nest, have a go at winter wildlife quiz trails and enjoy hot mince pies, mulled drinks and a barbeque. Books and stocking fillers will be available to buy from the Friends of the Park’s popular gift stall.
Free entry and activities. Suitable for all ages and no need to book. All under 10 year olds must be accompanied by an adult.

The site has a Visitor Centre and toilets, including disabled access toilet and baby changing facilities. Food will be available to buy at our barbeque and refreshment stall.
Ecology Park Gatehouse
Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Disabled parking space at the end of John Harrison Way. Ring 0208 293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.
Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces limited. Good public transport access: North Greenwich tube, buses 108,129,132,161,188,422,472,486. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier with places to lock bikes.
