Join us in song at the Pleasley Pit Christmas Carol Concert.

The Friends of Pleasley Pit are having a Christmas Carol Concert at the Pit with the local Sempre Ladies Choir.  This atmospheric concert will take place under the headgear of this historic mining site.  Entry includes FREE refreshments.

Adults £2 (Kids FREE)

Pleasley Pit was the oldest and deepest pit in the East Midlands coalfield. The first shafts at Pleasley colliery were sunk between 1872 and 1875 and the colliery finally ceased production in 1983. The pit is now managed by the friends of Pleasley pit with the country trails managed by The Land Trust.

The event is wheel chair accessible and there are toilet facilities on site.
