A craze that is sweeping the nation is coming to Chester this Saturday (July 9) when the city’s first weekly parkrun takes place at the Countess of Chester Country Park.
The 5km (3.1 miles) run is free to enter and staffed by volunteers as a way of promoting healthy living while having fun.
Aimed at all ages and abilities, people can just turn up on the day to walk, jog or run the course, with a start time of 9am.
