Liverpool Lantern Company in partnership with Liverpool City Council are bringing a brand new Spring Festival of Light to Festival Gardens, Liverpool.
The environmentally themed lantern festival will take place over three evenings between 18th – 20th February 2016.
The gardens and woodland will be transformed into an extraordinary and strange luminous landscape, where what is usually hidden beneath the lake beds and woodland floors creep, crawl and belch up to the service. Illuminated puppets, performers and light and sound installations tell a story of a world turned upside down, where humans change place with the insects and all experience the natural world from unimagineable new perspectives!
Family workshops to create your own lantern/illuminated creature will take place at community venues across Liverpool between 14th – 17th February 2016.
Please book early for both the workshops and the event as tickets are strictly limited and are expected to sell out early.
