History (of Beam Parklands) Walk

Open to all. No need to have knowledge of the area but people will be welcome to share their own memories of the site during the walk!

Visit #WildFreeLBBD History walk of the Beam Parklands Country Park and or the LBBD website for information on Ranger Service summer events and for booking information. Please note that pre-booking is not essential for this event.

Managed by LBBD Park Rangers in partnership with The Land Trust, Beam Parklands is located where the River Wantz meets the River Beam.

This area of river floodplain, scrub and grassland habitat supports a wide range of wildlife and has a fascinating history.

Hidden amongst the vegetation you may notice pillboxes and other historical features.

Join this walking tour to hear stories from the past and learn more about the history of the site.

At the Beam Parklands entrance near the Bull roundabout, off Rainham Road.

The country park has uneven terrain but the walk is accessible for people with disabilities.

No parking available on site. Street parking is available.
