The Green and Healthy Hearts and Minds project is a practical TCV conservation green gym, engaging with people at the park. Taking place outdoors, Parking available, Healthy & Active, Events for Grown Ups, Volunteering Event.
| Regular Event, every Friday, 2 sessions: 10.30-12.30 and 1-3pm
Undertaking conservation and management tasks around Countess of Chester Country Park, tasks can be varied and include footpath management, wildflower meadow management, woodland management, tree planting and many more. Projects are more for the over 18s but if a child is accompanied by a responsible adult we are happy for them to be there. |

Suitable clothing that a person does not mind getting dirty, packed lunch if staying for the full day
We have a ranger hut with one toilet and a mess room
Countess of Chester Country Park Ranger Hut
Due to most of the tasks being around the country park, unfortunately most tasks are unsuitable for people with mobility problems
We have an agreement with hospital security that volunteers can park in the staff car park with a TCV Volunteer Parking Permit in their car
