Join Derbyshire Wildlife Trust staff and volunteers on a guided walk around The Avenue Washlands as part of the Chesterfield Walking Festival.
The reserve has several meadows with lovely flora and abundant insect life making it a great place to spot several butterfly species. This is a family friendly event where everyone can have a go at ‘insect sweeping’ getting the chance to see butterflies (and other insects) up close and improve your identification skills.
