28th April 2023 - 1st May 2023 : 10:00 - 17:00
City Nature Challenge is an annual four-day global 'bioblitz' nature hunt, to record and protect wildlife in urban areas. Join residents in 450+ cities across the UK and the world take part in friendly and fun competition to record as much wildlife as possible between Friday 28 April and Monday 1 May 2023.
In 2022, London made 4,436 observations, recording 1,087 species! In 2023, we want to eclipse last year’s totals. Please join the London City Nature Challenge team to make this our most successful London, UK and Global event yet. There are many ways to get involved, from making your own observations to running an event. This year, our aim is for as many people as possible to make just one observation and record it.
The Gatehouse will have information about how to download and use iNaturalist. We will also have ID guides available and staff to help on the 30th of April and 1st of May
