Christmas Decorations Workshop

Festival Gardens to May 2017

12th December 2015 : 11am - 3pm

Come join us in making your own handmade christmas wreath to hang on your door this Christmas. You will make a wreath with willow, ivy, red ribbon, tinsel and baubles to take home with you. Everything will be provided but if you like, you can bring some of your own foliage from your garden.

You can also make a bird feeder out of a log and bird seed. Make the feeder, take it home, hang it in your garden and watch the birds enjoying their dinner! If you fancy giving the birds or bats a shelter this winter you can check out out bird or bat boxes. If you’d like any additional advice on how to encourage animals to live in the boxes our experienced rangers are happy to give you lots of advice on optimal positioning and maintenance.

You will learn how to turn a piece of willow into a colourful indoor Christmas decoration as well as learn about what birds eat at this time of year and how best to look after them during the winter months.

Call or email the rangers to book your place and meet in the Japanese Garden to get started.

£5 for Wreaths, £5 for Bird Boxes, £3 for Log Feeders
