A free open day with a host of activities to celebrate the work of TCV at the Ecology Park and discover how people help nature and nature helps people!
Free activities for all ages from child to adult, including Woodland Bling, a Detox Your Home workshop, frog habitat houses to paint, a Meet the Newts session and quiz trails.
Refreshments will be on sale and there will be a chance to find out more about the range of volunteering opportunities with TCV at the park, including our weekly conservation workdays. We will also be launching our new Dementia Friendly Nature Walks and Activities on Sunday afternoons from 30th September.
Quiz trails and Meet the Newts will be outside but other activities will be indoors in the gatehouse or our new education building.
All under 10s must be accompanied by an adult.
The site has a visitor centre and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.

The park is a dementia friendly site and has good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Activities are also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 020 8293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.
We strongly advise you use public transport. We have great public transport access: North Greenwich tube, plus buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square or John Harrison Way stop. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces VERY limited.
