From 'one of the most contaminated sites in Europe' to a haven for wildlife and community green space, Avenue Washlands Nature Reserve has undergone an incredible transformation.
Come along between 1pm and 3pm to find out about the site's past, present and future, meet volunteers, enjoy a walk and butterfly hunt, and see what you can spot on the reserve.
It's all free and refreshments will be provided.
