Celebrating National Picnic Week

Picnicking is one of the UK’s most enjoyable summer traditions, and is a great way of taking advantage of any open spaces in your local area over the warmer months of the year.

National Picnic Week (11th – 16th June) aims to provide people with the ideal opportunity to get together over a picnic and we have many sites which would be perfect to enjoy with family, friends and a proper picnic.

We manage our sites to create great places for the trees and flowers, bugs and birds as well as our visitors to enjoy so if you’re planning to picnic at one of our many sites across the country, here’s some helpful advice we’d like you to bear in mind:

• Please check if dogs are allowed before choosing which site you’d like to visit.
• Please be considerate to others and avoid playing loud music during your visit
• Please don’t fix anything to the trees or furniture or drive anything into the ground.
• Please make sure you tidy up after your fun day out and don’t leave any litter.
• Barbecues are not permitted on any of our sites.
