We are celebrating the minibeasts here at the Park. Join us on a minibeast hunt to see who we can find! We will also be putting the minibeasts under the microscope for a close up look at how they move and eat.
Session times are
10am – 11am Bug hunt 11:15am – 11:45am Microscopy 1pm -2pm Bug hunt 2:15pm – 2:45pm Microscopy All children must be accompanied by an adult. Activities are suitable for children of all ages. Please drop in at any point during the session. All activities are free! |

Dress for the weather – we’ll be outside with the minibeasts come rain or shine!
The site has a visitor centre and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides and outdoor classroom. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 020 8293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.
We strongly advise you use public transport. We have great public transport access: North Greenwich tube, plus buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square or John Harrison Way stop. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces very limited. Please note that the outer boardwalk is currently closed for repair. You can get to the gatehouse and park via the Thames Path, off John Harrison Way, or follow the frogs from the bus stop.
