We get involved in and support different networks and initiatives which help us to achieve our vision for improving the quality of people’s lives through managing high quality green spaces.
We are working with Buglife, on their B-Lines project, which is about creating a network of wildflowers stretching across the UK to link together wildlife sites and support important pollinators (which include bees, butterflies, moths, wasps, beetles and flies).
Working with Buglife and our partners, we are maintaining, creating and enhancing our green spaces, with wildflower meadows and other pollinator friendly habitats to help support these vital insects.

We are a partner in the City of Trees movement which aims to green Greater Manchester and plant 3 million trees – one for every man, woman and child in the City region, within a generation.
The charity aims to re-invigorate the landscape, not only by planting trees but transforming unloved, unused woodland into places loved and cared for by the community.

We are a member of the Green Infrastructure Partnership (GIP), which is a network of over 700 people and organisations that support the creation, enhancement and promotion of green infrastructure (GI) in the UK to improve quality of life, health, ecologic al diversity, resilience to climate change and economic improvement.

We are involved in the Charter for Trees, Woods and People, which is a project led by our member, the Woodland Trust and supported by more than 40 organisations to place trees at the centre of national decision making and ensure trees and woods, as vital green infrastructure are embedded into society.
