Join us for a fun filled, froggy themed, free event, celebrating the time of year when frogs return to their breeding ponds and lay frogspawn.
Froggy activities include pond dipping, a “Good Pond Bad Pond” workshop, Toadly Awesome Art, frogtastic quiz trails and a “What’s in a Frog’s Larder?” bug hunt. The Friends of the Park group will be running Freddy Frog’s pop up cafe and a gift and second hand book stall.
Free entry and free activities with no booking required. Suitable for all ages from child to adult but all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Dress for the weather as some of the activities will be outdoors and will go ahead rain or shine!
The site has a visitor centre and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides and pond dipping platform. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 020 8293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.
We strongly advise you use public transport. We have great public transport access: North Greenwich tube, plus buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square , John Harrison Way or Millennium Way stops. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces very limited.
