Tom Keevil joins the Land Trust

The Land Trust is delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Keevil to the Board of Trustees in a non-executive capacity, following his retirement from Barratt Developments PLC (Barratt).

 

Tom has a strong record in property and customer service. He has been a senior executive providing guidance and advice to the Boards of three FTSE 100 PLCs for over 15 years, following a 16 year career in an international law firm, where he began his career in 1984.

Tom has been on the Board of Factories Mutual Insurance since 2011 and was appointed chair of its Risk Committee in 2015.  He will become Chairman of CityWest Homes (owned by Westminster City Council) on 08 June 2016. He was a non-executive director of the Solicitors Regulatory Authority and its Professional Standards, Financial Resources and Regulatory Risk Committees between 2009–2014. Prior to joining Barratt, Tom was General Counsel and Company Secretary at United Utilities Group PLC.

Reflecting on his appointment, Tom said: “I am delighted to be joining the Land Trust at this exciting time and I look forward to helping the team to deliver its bold and ambitious plans and projects.”
