The Land Trust seeks contractor for the landscape maintenance and cleansing services at Merlin Park

The Land Trust is currently seeking to appoint a competent Contractor for the provision of landscape maintenance and cleansing services for Merlin Park, Hucknall, Nottingham.

The Contract is envisaged to have an initial term of 3 years, plus provision of further extensions, subject to written approval of The Land Trust, under the same Terms and Conditions. The total contract Term is envisaged to be 01 February 2024 – 31 December 2029. Any extensions will be based on Rates, Prices and Percentage Increases submitted at tender stage.

Typical planned Services under the Contract will comprise of, but are not exclusively limited to:

• Grass cutting including amenity grass, rough grass, wildflower meadows and swale grassland;
• Weed control, including removal of ragwort;
• Hedgerow maintenance;
• SuDS and Aquatic Planting maintenance;
• Site inspections and reporting including weekly visual, monthly operational and annual main inspections to the play area and Green Gym;
• Cleansing including to grass areas, play areas, hardstanding, and bin emptying; and
• Any reactive works to ensure the site is managed in line with The Land Trust’s objectives.
