The Land Trust seeks partner to manage sites in Greater Manchester area

19th September 2017

The Land Trust is tendering for the landscape management contract at its Ashton's Field site, with potential for other spaces in the Greater Manchester area to fall under the same agreement.

The management contract for Ashton’s Field, Little Hulton, is being retendered, with a new contract to start in April 2018.

The 8 hectare urban site features a mix of habitats, including grassland, heathland and wetland. The management involves day-to-day maintenance and community engagement to further the Land Trust’s charitable objectives around health, the environment, the economy, social cohesion and education.

The Land Trust has a number of smaller sites within Greater Manchester at Agecroft, Pendlebury, which will be included in this tender proposal. A site in West Gorton may also be added to this contract.

An Expression of Interest pack containing more details about this opportunity is due to be issued to interested parties in November, and the deadline for tender submissions will be before Christmas.
