The Land Trust are looking to retender for the managing agent of Port Sunlight River Park, Birkenhead, Merseyside.
The park is approximately 34ha in size, with a mix of habitats including pockets of woodland, open grassland, a lake with a reed-bed, and a visitor centre and cafe with amenity grassland areas; there is also a woodland and ancient scheduled monument in nearby Bromborough Pool.
The managing agent will take responsibility for the day to day management of the site, working in partnership with the Land Trust, delivering outcomes that meet the requirements defined in the management plan and to meet the Trusts charitable objectives.
The new management contract will run from February 2023. Further details about this opportunity will be issued to the interested parties by the end of September 2022, and the deadline for tender submissions will be the end of October 2022.
