The Land Trust seeks partner to manage Osprey Quay

17th February 2017

The Land Trust is tendering for the landscape management contract of its Osprey Quay site, home to the sailing events of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Under a three-year contract, starting on 1st April 2017, the managing partner will be required to maintain the 9 hectare site in Portland, Dorset, and support the national land management charity in meeting its objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). The contract is likely to require involvement of two days per week in spring and summer, and one day per week in autumn and winter, in order to provide a high quality setting for the businesses and visitors using the promenade, marina and leisure facilities.

Alan Carter, Director of Portfolio Management at the Land Trust, said: “This is an exciting opportunity to manage a notable waterfront site and we welcome enquiries from environmental and land management organisations that share our vision and our passion for accessible community spaces.”

Expressions of interest should be directed to Victoria Webbon, Estates Officer South, at victoriawebbon@thelandtrust.org.uk, who will provide an application pack. The deadline for applications is 3pm on Friday, 3rd March.
