The Land Trust has launched a new set of Christmas colouring sheets as the charity aims to engage with young people throughout the festive period.
There are five different designs, with the activity inspired by some of the fantastic rainbow drawings during the first period of lockdown caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Land Trust’s Director of Portfolio Management, Alan Carter, said:
“Normally at this time of year we would be running a variety of festive events and activities across our portfolio of sites for the benefit and enjoyment of our communities.
“Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we have been unable to do that this year. However we wanted to come up with an activity which could be enjoyed by all the family.
“We hope that once the colouring sheets have been completed that people will put them in the windows of their home to provide a little bit of festive cheer for themselves, their neighbours and the wider community.”
The colouring sheets can be downloaded from the Land Trust’s website here.
The Land Trust would also like anyone who completes one of the colouring sheets to send a photo holding the completed work to christmas@thelandtrust.org.uk
With your permission the photograph will be used as part of a festive video which will go out on the Land Trust’s social media channels on Christmas Day.
