19th July 2017 : 10am - 12.30pm
Join a friendly team of volunteers to do a range of practical conservation and woodland management tasks while learning new skills, improving your health and wellbeing and making new friends.
The exact nature of the task is decided close to the time depending on weather and time of year but may be one of the following: Scrub clearance, burning, high pruning, general site improvement tasks.
Please let us know if you will be coming so we can make sure we have enough tools, gloves and refreshments.
Under 16s are welcome provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult.
Suitable clothing for the time of year. Sensible shoes for working in a woodland environment : not flip flops!
Tea/coffee biscuits provided halfway through the session.
