Wildlife Wonder Photography Workshops

Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park

26th August 2016 : 10am - 2.30pm

A fantastic opportunity to get some practical experience and top tips from professional wildlife photographer, Iain Green, who has photographed tigers as well as urban wildlife!

Bring a camera or camera phone if you have one, however basic, we will have spare cameras to try out too.

Public session for all ages over 8:  10am-12 noon Suitable for 8 year olds and above but ring us to check if you are a very keen younger photographer.

Public session for 10-18 year olds: 12.30 – 2.30 pm

Dress for the weather. Camera if you have one.

The site has a small visitor centre and toilets. There will be quiz trails and colouring available on site. There is no café on site but a shop and café are nearby in Millenium Village Oval Square.

Ecology Park Gatehouse

Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 0208 293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.

Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces limited. Good public transport access: North Greenwich tube, buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier with places to lock bikes.
