Dip into a wild and wonderful free event celebrating summer in the beautiful Ecology Park

Visitors can enjoy a wide range of wildlife taster sessions from Pond Dipping, Bug, Bees and Butterflies, Urban Guerilla Wildlife Gardening. Nature’s Harvest, fun quiz trails and more! Our pop-up café and barbeque will be serving hot food, drinks and snacks.

Free entry and activities are suitable for all ages from 0 to 100 (and over). No booking required. The friends group will be selling small gifts and our exclusive Top Trumps packs (Awesome Animals featuring an animal from the park).

Just bring yourselves and dress from the weather. Pond dipping involves lying down on a wooden decking area.

The site has a small visitor centre and toilets. There will be a mix of indoor and outdoor activities. Hot food and refreshments will be on sale.

Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park

Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Disabled parking space at the end of John Harrison Way. Ring 0208 293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.

Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces are limited. Good public transport access: North Greenwich tube, buses 108, 129,132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier with places to lock bikes.
