Free Easter holiday activity for families and children themed on frogs, toads and newts.

Jumping Jack Frogs: 11am to 12
Make and decorate a jumping frog with springy legs from card and paper.
We’re Going on a Newt Hunt: 2 to 3pm
Discover the secret world of one of our favourite amphibians – the humble newt! Take a close up look and find out what they eat, where they go and what they are doing in spring.
Free entry and activities with no booking required. Suitable for all ages from child to adult but all children must be accompanied by an adult

The newt hunt will take place outside so dress for the weather!
The site has a visitor centre and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides and pond dipping platform. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 020 8293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.
We strongly advise you use public transport. We have great public transport access: North Greenwich tube, plus buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square , John Harrison Way or Millennium Way stops. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces very limited. Please note that the outer boardwalk is currently closed for repair. You can get to the gatehouse and park via the Thames Path, off John Harrison Way.
