2 sessions: 11am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3pm – meet in the walk-in meadow
Make your own den from willow poles, stems and natural materials. Design and make your own mud painted banner to proudly display at the top of your den.
Suitable for approx. 6 yrs and above as you need to hold poles in place and tie knots in string – adult help much appreciated!

The site has a visitor centre and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 020 8293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.
We strongly advise you use public transport. We have great public transport access: North Greenwich tube plus buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square or John Harrison Way stop. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces are VERY limited.
