Bring your picnic and chairs for a family day on Kiveton Community Woodland with live music, traditional games, children's activities and heritage displays.

Celebrating 150 years since Kiveton Park Colliery reached the coal seam and 240 years since the opening of the Chesterfield Canal.

A picnic, something to sit on and dress for the weather.

The main amphitheatre at Kiveton Community Woodland

Event held on grassy area, site access is on crushed stone footpaths.

Some parking is available at Hard Lane Car Park and Colliery Road though we encourage people to walk or cycle to the event.
