Join our team at our Avenue Washlands Nature Reserve for a fun filled spooky evening!
Families are invited to The Avenue Washlands nature reserve for a creepy crawly night out. You can make a Halloween lantern and join in on a spooky walk on the reserve as night falls followed by some warming soup to finish. There will be other crafts and activities to get stuck in to as well as prizes for the best Halloween fancy dress.
Suitable for children aged 3 and over. Children must be accompanied by parent/ guardian.

Bring snacks (packed tea); warm soup, bread and drinks are provided at the end, suitable outdoor clothes and footwear.
The Learning Centre has full toilet facilities. Please note there are grazing animals on this wetland reserve.

Access to the site is via squeeze stiles which are just wide enough for mobility scooters. About 80% of the reserve, including the two viewing screens, is accessible to wheelchairs. Wheelchair users and people with limited mobility please contact organiser in advance.
No parking charges. The Avenue Visitor Centre on Mill Lane is only open for groups by prior arrangement, otherwise park on Mill Lane just past the houses. There is no parking available at the Tupton end.
