A frogtastic free fun day to celebrate all things amphibian! With special guests, Froglife, to launch an exciting new Toad Virtual Reality Experience!
The event will offer a host of free frog-themed activities, including close up encounters with pond animals, a ‘Meet the Newts’ session, frogtastic quiz trails, frog mask making and special garden pond workshops with free advice on frog-friendly gardening.
In a first for the UK, Froglife will be launching a brand new Toad Virtual Reality Experience at this event, which will allow people to become a toad and travel through a tunnel to explore a nature reserve.
Free entry and free activities. Suitable for all ages from child to adult.
There will also be a barbecue (no frogs!), refreshments, second hand book stall, froggy raffle and gift stall.
No booking required. All under 10s must be accompanied by an adult.

Dress for the weather as part of the activity will be outdoors and will go ahead rain or shine!
The site has a visitor centre and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 0208 293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.
We strongly advise you use public transport. We have great public transport access: North Greenwich tube, plus buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square or John Harrison Way stop. By bicycle or on foot/l along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces are VERY limited.
