Travel the bug world within the Ecology Park and create a bug passport, recording your finds and fun facts.
|2 sessions at 11am to 12.00 and 2pm to 3pm. We will walk around the park looking at minibeasts and flowers to draw inspiration and then create our passports indoors. Suitable for all ages but younger children will need adult help.
Dress for the weather as part of the activity will take place outdoors and will go ahead rain or shine!
The site has a visitor centre and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 020 8293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.
We strongly advise you use public transport. We have great public transport access: North Greenwich tube, plus buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square or John Harrison Way stop. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces very limited. Please note that the outer boardwalk is currently closed for repair. You can get to the gatehouse and park via the Thames Path, off John Harrison Way, or follow the frogs from the bus stop.
