The Bug Man - Live Animal Show!

Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park

Get close up to some weird and wonderful creepy crawlies and reptiles!

Our favourite Bug Man, Martin Rapley, is back with real live animals, many of which you can hold, including:

  • snakes & lizards
  • a chameleon
  • stick insects
  • giant millipedes

11am – 3pm: ongoing all day – drop in any time.

Dress for the weather

The site has a small visitor centre and toilets. There will be quiz trails and colouring available on site. There is no café on site but a shop and café are nearby in Millenium Village Oval Square.

Ecology Park Gatehouse

Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 0208 293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed

Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces limited. Good public transport access: North Greenwich tube, buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier with places to lock bikes.
