Water Boatmen are wonderful water minibeasts! Come and be inspired by some real life boatmen and make your own model boatman out of card and scrap materials.
| 2 craft sessions from 10.30am to 12.30 and 1.30pm to 3.30pm. We will be looking closely at some real life water boatman and creating models with all the correct body parts, even the special hairs on their legs!
All activities are free. Children must be accompanied by an adult. |

The site has a visitor centre and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities.
Greenwich Peninsula Ecology Park
Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Activities also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 020 8293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed.
We strongly advise you use public transport. We have great public transport access: North Greenwich tube, plus buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square or John Harrison Way stop. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces very limited. Please note that the outer boardwalk is currently closed for repair. You can get to the gatehouse and park via the Thames Path, off John Harrison Way, or follow the frogs from the bus stop.
