Fruit tree planting for all ages followed by a workshop where you can learn how to care for our new trees and share recipe ideas.
Come and help us plant some fruit trees around the park from 10am to 12pm. Then join us for a workshop at 12.30-1.30pm to learn more about the trees, how best to care for them and what to do with their fruits.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Meet in the car park off Chester Road (DH4 6GB).
All tools provided.
Please come dressed for the weather including sturdy footwear. Feel free to bring a packed lunch or picnic if you want to stay on for the workshop.
No toilet facilities available.
Meet us in the car park off Chester Road at 10am or 12.30pm. If you arrive after 10am call 07909 231906 to find out where we are.
Some planting areas will be muddy if we have wet weather beforehand, but the main paths are accessible.
Limited spaces in the Chester Road car park. Please walk or use public transport where possible.
