Take a really close look at the creatures that live below the surface of the pond with our microscope connected to a giant TV screen! Half hour sessions every Wednesday at 12pm and 3.30pm. Note that places must be booked in advance via the TCV website – www.tcv.org.uk/greenwichpeninsula
Weird and wonderful water creatures with hairy bottoms, snorkels and lots of tails will all be under the microscope! All children will need to be accompanied.A maximum of 3 children per adult. Booking is essential.If you have had any Covid related symptoms or are isolating, please do not attend. Please cancel your booking in this circumstance.

All equipment is provided and will be cleaned before use. Please do not bring you own nets
The site has a small visitor centre, outdoor classroom and toilets, including accessible toilet with baby changing facilities. There is no café on site but there is a village square with café and small shops nearby. All buildings will be well ventilated at all times
Good level access across the site with wide wooden boardwalks and accessible bird hides. Activities and pond dip platform also accessible. Disabled toilet and baby changing facility. Wheelchair available to borrow. Disabled parking space at end of John Harrison Way. Ring 020 8293 1904 for any special parking arrangements needed
Good public transport access: North Greenwich tube, buses 108, 129, 132, 161, 188, 422, 472, 486 to Millennium Village Oval Square stop. By bicycle or on foot: along the Thames Path between the O2 and the Thames Barrier, with places to lock bikes. Free parking for 2 hours on John Harrison Way, Pear Tree Way and West Parkside but spaces very limited.
