At the Land Trust, we are committed to protecting the privacy of users of our site. Set out below is our policy regarding information we receive from the users of our site.

We may provide aggregated statistics about online sales, web site traffic patterns and related information to reputable third party vendors, but these statistics will not include any personally identifying information.

We do not currently use cookies on the main site www.thelandtrust.org.uk to collect user information and do not collect any information about you except that required for the system administration of our site.

If you no longer wish to receive any information from us, please send an email to enquiries@thelandtrust.org.uk and your details will be removed from our mailing list.

All data collected from users of the Website is protected against unauthorised access. We will use the personal information you provide in relation to the Website for the following purposes:

  • to send email messages containing news updates to users who have registered for that purpose;
  • to send hard copy publications to users who have requested them and who have provided their address details for that purpose
  • to keep a record of email enquiries received through the website and replies thereto, to ensure that we have a means of responding to our enquirers
  • to keep a record of people who want to access specific information and have registered for that purpose
  • to collect information from people who would like to apply for jobs with the Land Trust and who have registered for that purpose.

Unless you have given your consent, none of the data that we obtain will be provided to third party organisations in anything other than aggregate statistical form. It is not our policy to pass on personal information about our users to third parties unless you have given your consent.

By using our site you consent to the collection and use of information gathered by the Land Trust through the site.  Please leave the site immediately if you do not agree to this.

In the event that we decide to change our policy, we will post these changes on this page so that you can be aware of what information we collect, how we use it and when we disclose it.



I enjoy working at The Land Trust because of the trust that they put in me to be actively involved in projects, and I feel influential in decision making. As a Graduate this provided me with great professional experience across a broad range of disciplines, that'll ultimately be very beneficial for my future career.
