Photography Competition 2026 & 2027 Terms & Conditions

How to enter

Send your photograph as an email attachment or shareable link without a watermark to media@thelandtrust.org.uk with the subject line “Photography Competition – Name & Season of entry” Within the email please include the following:

  • Name:
  • Date the image was taken:
  • Location that the image was taken:
  • Your social handles so we can tag you (your account name for Instagram/Facebook)


How will this be judged?

The entries will be shortlisted by Land Trust staff judges and then shared on the Land Trust social media channels for the winner to be selected by the public.


Terms and Conditions

Photographs must be taken on, or looking at, a Land Trust site. Seasonal entrants should be submitted during the time frame of that shared during the launch post of each seasonal competition. Listed below and you will also be able to find these on the Land Trust’s Facebook & Instagram page.

Additional Information

By submitting photographs to the photography competition, you are giving the Land Trust and third-party affiliates permission and consent to use the photographs in digital, online, print marketing and promotional materials in perpetuity.

All images submitted will be credited with the full name submitted where possible. If you do not want your photographs to be used by the Trust, you must state this in your correspondence with the Trust.

For anyone recognisable in the photographs, consent MUST be obtained by completing the photography consent form (or parent/guardian consent for under-16s).

All entries made by those under 16 must have permission from an adult and include the entrant’s and guardian’s full name, their age, where the photo was taken and the date.

The overall winners will be announced in February 2027. The overall winner of the 2026 category will receive a £200 voucher only. Four winners will be chosen from each season and will receive a £75 voucher each. Entrants are not limited to winning only one season and may receive the winning prize for multiple seasons.

The winner will be announced on social media and will be contacted by email to arrange for the voucher to be emailed or send via post. Land Trust staff members or managing parters are not permitted to enter the competition.
