The Land Trust seeks contractor for the landscape maintenance and cleansing services at Branston Locks

The Land Trust is currently seeking to appoint a competent Contractor for the provision of landscape maintenance and cleansing services for Branston Locks, Burton-On-Trent.

The Contract is envisaged to run on an annual basis beginning 1st October 2024. An annual budget will be agreed with the Service Charge Estates Manager and additional provisions will be included to cover contingency items. Any additional land take on will be agreed and cost as such.

Typical planned services under the contract will comprise of but are not exclusively limited to:

• Grass cutting including amenity grass, meadow grass, wildflower meadows and swale grassland
• Regular weed control
• Hedgerow maintenance
• SuDS and Aquatic Planting maintenance
• Site audit reports to follow each maintenance visit and a commitment to monthly meetings with the estates team to monitor progress
• Cleansing including grass areas, play areas, hardstanding, and weekly bin emptying
• Any reactive works to ensure the site is managed in line with the Land Trust’s objectives.
