Rethinking Parks Programme
This year, the Land Trust has been delivering a programme of work at Everton
Park in Liverpool as a result of securing £67,500 from the Rethinking Parks
programme, which is a partnership between the Big Lottery Fund, Heritage
Lottery Fund and Nesta.
This funding has been used to recruit a dedicated Project Offcer to support and work with
the Friends of Everton Park in the recruitment and training of volunteers and engaging with
local residents. It aims to increase the use of the park, tackle anti-social behaviour and
deepen community stewardship and a sense of pride in this impressive urban park.
