English Woodland Grant Scheme


This year, the Land Trust successfully completed works to improve woodlands
across seven of its sites, as a result of securing £118,000 from the English
Woodland Grant Scheme. These improvements will deliver greater environmental FROM THE ENGLISH
and community benefts and included installing new interpretation and facilities
at existing woodland sites and developing plans for future woodlands.

The English Woodland Grant Scheme distributes and administers government funding
via the Forestry Commission and has been a vital source of funding for us to deliver the GRANT
long term management of our woodland areas, allowing us to protect these vital resources
and enabling people across England to have better access to these spaces, which are so
important for health and wellbeing.
