Carr Lodge

Carr Lodge is an eight-hectare nature reserve located beside White Rose Way, north of the M18 in Doncaster and positioned close to the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust’s Potteric Carr Nature Reserve. The Land Trust acquired Carr Lodge in 2012 and has plans to transform it for the benefit of the community through the establishment of wetland areas, viewing screens and footpaths.

The Present and the Future

Yorkshire Wildlife Trust are our managing partners on site and working with the Land Trust have ambitious plans to enhance the biodiversity of the site through re-wetting this valuable wetland and provide opportunities for the public to eventually fully enjoy the rich wildlife spectacle it will provide.
