Volunteers weave wonders at Ashton’s Field

7th November 2016

A hardy team of helpers headed out into the autumn sunshine at Ashton’s Field for a willow weaving project.

Aided by the glorious sunshine and a flask of tea, they pegged out a willow bed at the bottom of the triangle meadow, featuring several varieties of weaving willow.

Ranger Duncan MacNaughton said the team did a fantastic job and are looking forward to their next project.
