Take extra care during wet weather

5th January 2016

Following the exceptionally heavy rain in recent weeks, please take extra care when visiting our parks and to let us know of any significant flooding or other dangers on site.

The Met Office has confirmed that December 2015 was the wettest on record and many Land Trust sites across the country are ‘damper’ than usual.

They remain open to the public and continue to be great places to visit to walk or run off festive over eating … come rain or shine!

However, some of our sites are experiencing minor localised flooding and some paths and grassed areas could be exceptionally wet and slippery.

Please take extra care and let us know if you see any significant flooding or other dangers on site.
